Institutional Equity and Belonging

Heather Doyle Heinnickel is joining the Institutional Equity and Belonging team as a remote temporary program coordinator based in Seattle, WA. She is returning to the workforce after taking some time away to care for her family and is excited to share the knowledge and skills she has acquired through both paid and unpaid positions throughout the last 25 years. Her previous experience includes the roles of Multicultural Enrollment Counselor and Associate Director of Admissions at Juniata College. More recently, she has given her time and energy to many school boards, associations, and committees; managing budgets and contracts, coordinating volunteers, and promoting equity and justice in Pre-K-12 education.  

In her spare time, she leads a troop of determined 6th grade Girl Scouts and serves as an elected Precinct Committee Officer for her community. Heather grew up in Denver and Aurora and is thrilled to have a new connection with Colorado!
